“Chip” Floyd Fuller Hendrix, age 47, of Goose Creek, SC and husband of Linda Fincher Hendrix passed away suddenly at his home on July 6, 2006. Chip was born on January 25, 1959, in Berkeley, CA, son of Frances Greene Hendrix and Floyd Fuller Hendrix, Jr.
Chip was a philosopher of grand plans in addition to being an automotive technician for most of his life. He was also a certified diver and a lifetime member of NRA. He is survived by wife, Linda of Goose Creek, sons, Russell F. Hendrix of Duluth, Ga., and Adam C. Runey of Rancho Santa Margareita, CA, mother, Frances Hendrix of Franklin, TN, father, Floyd Hendrix Jr. of Jasper, GA, sister, Kathleen Crommelin of Franklin, TN, brother, Peter B. Hendrix (O'Neal) of Asheville, NC, and nephew, Robert P. Crommelin of Franklin, TN and many beloved friends and dogs who will miss him greatly.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 9, at 3:00 p.m., at Palmetto Cremation Society, 11 Cunnington Ave., Charleston, SC. The Hendrix Family is being served by the PALMETTO CREMATION SOCIETY.
