George M. Frye Aged 73 Years, Goes In Death
George Morris Frye, 73, of 1069 1/2 Hershey avenue, died at 5:50 a. m. today at Bellevue hospital following a week's illness.
The son of Edward and Alice Wilson Frye, he was born in Louisa county,IOWA on Dec. 22, 1877, and had been a resident of Muscatine IOWA for 43 years. He married the former Etta M. Craddock on Dec. 28, 1898, in Muscatine OIWA. Mr. Frye was a carpenter by trade and was of Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, two sons, Clarence E. Frye of Muscatine, and Melvin R. Frye of Watertown, Wis.; five daughters, Mrs. Walter Koever, Mrs. Albert McCleary and Mrs. Isaac W. Lee,
all of Muscatine, Mrs. Willis Otto of Davenport and Mrs. Raymond H. Irwin of Wilton; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Eis of Wenatchee, Wash., and Cora Bridges of Oakland, Calif., 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, two brothers and two sisters.
The body is at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. Neil Parmer, pastor of the Mulford Congregational church. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery.
